If you like to read about summer/beach theme novels then this is a perfect book! Elin Hilderbrand is becoming one of my favorite authors! She writes with such detail about each character that it just draws you into them immediately. It makes you feel like you are right there living the stories. I could not hardly put this book down. This makes the 3rd book by this author that I have read & I already have requested more of her books! You will be truly delighted with this book!

This book is another excellent story by Dorothea
Benton Frank! I love reading about the places that I have had the pleasure of visiting. I walked on Folly Beach & picked up seashells a few months ago. I had lunch on the pier with my husband and wondered about the people that were fortunate enough to grow up and live in such a beautiful place. This book has brought the characters to life and only makes me wish that I had read it before my visit. I could have visualized more about the story as it unfolded, taking me back to a more simpler time in history! Excellent read!! I would highly recommend it!!

Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite author's and this book is very good and maybe one of my favorites. She has a way of touching on sensitive subjects with alot of style and flavor! This book will make you look at your own marriage and make you ask questions of yourself that you would have never thought of before!

I loved Trixie Belden books as a child. My Mother used to buy them for me to read. Sadly, I lost my collection of these books so now I am trying to re-collect them for my grand-children. They are wonderful books!

Shem Creek is (once again) a MUST read by Dorothea Benton Frank! After reading several of her books about "The LowCountry", my husband and I just had to go visit Charletson! I was not disappointed! The area is amazing and I felt that I could invision all the people and their lives that I read about in this author's books. It makes you want to live in that area. I have visited many of the places that she writes about and each time, I fall in love with the magical aurora that these places rivet through my heart! I am always excited about each new book that comes out and can't hardly wait to read them!

I had this book on my bookshelf for awhile and finally decided to read it and I'm so glad that I did! It is so well written and very interesting. I learned alot about the circus that I did not know and the story that revolves around it is awesome! I want to see the movie to compare it to the book. Hope it is as good! You will never go to the circus again without thinking of the characters in this book and their story!

I loved this book! I have a friend that owns a horse farm near the area that this book was centered around. They are making a movie based on this book and they have filmed on her horse farm. I am so anxious to see if the filming will make it into the movie. I love the time frame in which the book was written. It brings back a lot of memories of my own childhood! I was pleased and captivated throughout the book! It was a wonderful book and I am looking forward to seeing the movie as well!

Ya Gotta Believe: My Roller-Coaster Life As a Screwball Pitcher and Part-Time Father, and My Hope-Filled Fight Against Brain Cancer
Review Date: 9/5/2012

I mainly read this book because it is about Tim Mcgraw's father. I was curious to find out about the way he found out about his biological father, Tug Mcgraw. The book was so much more than that! It turned out to be about a legend in his own time and it was very emotional as well. It is a must read, especially for country music and baseball lovers!
