This book is very poor. I learned absolutely nothing from this book and found most of the tips so basic and it seems there just to fill space to call it a book. If you are someone who reads a magazine you probably already know these tips. Save your credit/money and avoid this one.

This book has a good idea of making a list of things you want to do. But from there on it is just not worth it. All it does is talk about someone doing the item on the list. There is no explanation of how to go about it. Something I found weird is that there are so many sex related items in the book. I think this book is a waste and would not read it again.

Mama Glow: A Hip Lifestyle Guide to Your Fabulous Abundant Pregnancy
Review Date: 5/12/2013

I should have known this was going to be bad after I read about her freakout about consuming dairy and the dairy industry in general. I found a lot of this as bossy and condemning if you do not do what she said. Although she doesn't specifically come out and say it, it is obvious she thinks everyone should breastfeed. I wasn't impressed with this and only marked one small tip to remember. Skip this one.

Party Confidential: New Etiquette for Fabulous Entertaining
Review Date: 10/24/2012

This book is horrible. I expected something made for normal people, but this really is only for those planning parties for celebrities. One piece of advice was about parties had at the Playboy mansion which offered no true advice. There were goofy tidbits from celebs like don't run out of alochol. It was obvious the celebs just gave generic quotes and of course the authors thought a celeb comment would make it better. It did not. This book was so useless for me and taught me nothing. Unless you are planning parties for celebs, save your money.

Up For Renewal: What Magazines Taught Me About Love, Sex, and Starting Over
Review Date: 5/12/2014

This book starts off slow and not very good. I honestly put it down several times, but picked it back up and kept reading. And it finally started to get better. There was a lot of interesting parts and funny bits. I was happy to keep reading. I do wish she had given more of an ending and some pics. I would have liked more details about how everyone is.

In the end this isn't a bad book, but it is not something I would read again.
