This is my favorite book in the cycle so far! Most people like Eragon best, but this book is great and it has a surprise ending where Eragon learns of his connection to Murtagh. I must admit the part where Eragon gets magically transformed was a little annoying, but still a must read.

Some people may think this book is a waste of time, but I liked it.

Loved this book, however, there is still the very big problem of bad words. Another bad thing is that Meggie seems to fall in love with every boy she meets! She also makes an idol of her father's life.

It was a okay book; I liked the second and third books better. The swear words in this book (and there are a lot of them) are quite a problem-swear words do not make any book better. Also, the book was rather slow in some parts, but over all a pretty good book.

This book was good, but it would be better without the Farid and Meggie love story. Also, the swear words in there (and there were a lot) were very, very, very annoying.

This book is definitely not worth reading. His characters don't give us a reason to care about them. He can't even write a good story line. Don't read.

This is a very exciting book. It made it up to my very favorite books. Also, if you get stuck, don't think it is boring. Keep going! The next chapter might have lots of excitement in it. This book is one of those great books that have no bad language. Another plus. It is pretty long. But you can always put it off every now and then.
