Very helpful in mending the mother daughter relationship. Book should be read several times as there are things you may not realize until you are faced with the challenge.

Cd's are well written and very clear. The information offered is simply layed out in a staged fashion. They cover substantial material in a straight forward manner that immediately exposes the common sense nature in "piece meals" of managerial critical thinking approaches. All the while they are gathering it's components and combining them into the structured whole pie.

Great Book!
Her stories are humorous but yet offer fundamental simplicity that has long been forgotten in today's hurried and bombarded with informationals world.
Her humble beginnings coupled with her tenacity day after day are to be cherished as a anchoring primer for any life long goals. Simply written but colored through her "cutesy" personality with sometimes funny other times sad life experiences.
Her personality comes across throughout the book.... her voice is akin to that of a dear sister or relative showing you the ropes of life.

While this book can be heartwrenching at moments, I think its a must read for anyone.
Mr. Frankel's approach to his own experience is written in a non persuasive way, but rather in a more matter of factly manner. As his story unfolds, there are layers of phycological reflection that will creep up and help reflect an appreciativeness of life and freedom.
It is a quick read.

Book interviews of seasoned Drug and Alcohol sponsors on there similar and other time varied approach to carrying out the 12 steps of AA post integrated treatment or as a start.
Interesting, filled with great pratical experience for both sponsors or person who is dealing with a recovering addict. Sometimes it is hard to know how to deal with a recovering addict as they are different than normal people in some ways. I think the book really sheds light on your role in enforcing the 12 steps of AA and what are some of the things you can expect and what your role can be to help them recover.
Found book useful.
