Once I got past the British slang, references to items I was unfamiliar with, etc. I liked this book alot. Sophy is a lovable, though neurotically self-conscious, girl & Josh is the perfect guy. Perfect, because no real guy would keep coming back like he did. You're so glad they finally get together in the end.

The first story was good, and maybe the second one too. But as the stories progressed, they seemed too rushed.

Liked it because I always enjoy reading about characters introduced in other books. But this one was not as good as the previous book, Everything & the Moon.

This is the follow-up to To Catch an Heiress & I enjoyed it almost as much! Quinn allows her characters such a great sense of humor, even though they deal with serious situations, too. All in all - a great read.

Enjoyed the book very much, but just like with her first book, you'll be biting your nails/tapping your feet because you're so impatient for Harriet & John to finally get together in the end.

I had read Chesapeake Blue, the fourth book in this series, first. So it was fun to go back & read about these characters. The Quinn brothers are quite interesting. As always, Nora Roberts offers unique stories for each one. I love reading her books.

Enjoyed the book. It's different than most of the historical romances I've read, in that the hero is from the working class & still the heroine falls for him.

I've read several Julia Quinn books now, and while the story lines are somewhat predictable, she manages to throw a twist in now & then. The best part about reading her books is the humor! The heroine in this book is creating her own personal dictionary, writing down unusual words & using them in a sentence that Quinn records at the beginning of each chapter. It's just hilarious! This was a very enjoyable read!

I love Eve Dallas! This is one of the early books in the series. I enjoyed learning a little more of Roarke's history. And the interaction between Eve & Roarke, between Peabody & McNab - always fun to read!
