If I had looked at this book, I would not have ordered it. I don't buy a lot of convenience foods & that is what these recipes use.

The Cry of the Soul: How Our Emotions Reveal Our Deepest Questions About God

This book has very helpful information about understanding our emotions and how they affect us, how we can work with them, not try to ignore them or stifle them.

Enjoying the Presence of God: Discovering Intimacy With God in the Daily Rhythms of Life
Review Date: 9/8/2010

This is an excellent help for anyone wanting to start a quiet time or to revitalize their quiet time. Jan encourages us to practice God's presence, just like Brother Lawrence did, in the midst of the busyness of life, focus on God, enjoy His presence, remember that He is with us. I highly recommend this book!

A God-Entranced Vision of All Things: The Legacy of Jonathan Edwards
Review Date: 3/2/2012

Several authors write about how Jonathan Edwards influenced Christian thought & why we should read his works for ourselves. I haven't read any of his writing, but am thinking about adding a book to my to-read pile. I thought the book was interesting & well-written.
