This is a rather ethereal read. The prose and subject are quiet and meditative. It's a good way to while away a couple of rainy afternoons.

I have read this so many times I've lost track. I love the chemistry between Ash and Emma. Their snarky conversation makes me snort time and again, read after read. When they finally kiss (no kissing was allowed as part of their deal), I am always touched. Love this love story. I can't wait to read it again.

Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years

These 2 sisters just crack me up. They come from a well-to-do family that placed an emphasis on education.

This is kind of a combination of mystery and historical fiction. If you like either, this is a good read.

This was a rather fascinating read. The author's impressions of the time and place were insightful and humorous. One of those books that pleases with each reread.
