Silver-eyed Irissa, the Torloc seeress, has been searching for her people and for their home world, Edanvant, through years, through Gates between Worlds. Finorian, the only other living seeress, is threatened by Orvath, whose heart is frozen from the scars of an icy battle. Only Irissa can break the deadlock and restore Edanvant to peace.
