Need You Now is a contemporary work that most can relate to in their lives at some point. The characters are well-developed and the issues real. Darlene, mother of three, struggles with raising her teens. As a mother of teenagers myself, I can certainly relate. Is the issue a result of my parenting? Where did it all go wrong? You only want the best for your children and will do anything to ensure their happiness and security.

When Darlene takes a job for the first time in her marriage, outside of the home, it begins a rift in her marriage. Someone else has taken an interest in her and they are listening, something she hasn't had in awhile. With the youngest child, Gracie, really struggling with the move and some personal issues adding tension to the family and danger to herself, the whole family bond is stretched and it will take some faith and hope to put this family back together again.

A strong plot, heart-warming and issues that many can relate to or it could happen, Wiseman has written an engaging and emotional page-turner. I had a hard time putting this book now and the family out of my mind - highly recommend!!
