As her college student clientele drift home for the holidays, and her somewhat self-involved daughter learns the difficulty of holding down a job, bookseller/sometime sleuth Claire Malloy resigns herself to another run-of-the-mill Christmas. â As a diversion, she accepts an invitation from an eccentric customer to attend the local Druid winter solstice celebration.
