I went to Amazon to read their reviews first and all were four or five stars, mostly five. I loved it. It's the third in her Brown and DeLuca series and I can honestly say I couldn't possibly pick which is my favorite so far. They are mostly murder mysteries with a little paranormal mixed in so both genres are covered if your inclined to prefer either. I would encourage you to start at the beginning, but you could read this one as a stand alone. Anxiously waiting for the fourth.
