I wasn't sure what kind of rating to give this one, the last book was a complete mess

In the 6th book of the Creed series it doesn't seem to get better, cut up into pieces:

1. repeat of the kidnapping of Brodie over and over
2. repeat of the amputation of Jason arm over and over
3. dogs dogs dogs describing everything from color to slobber, really? I know it is about the 'job' they do and I love that but sometimes the descriptions are just over done
4. the romance between Ryder and Maggie? YUK! I don't understand why that happened?
5. the actual storyline of the finding of the bodies in the forest was the lesser of the whole book and a very simple storyline with a simple outcome

I can't give it more than a 3 rating and it really doesn't deserve that much
