This got great reviews, but I was 35 pages in and could tell it was not going to be for me. Set in early 1800s in a tavern by the Thames, a dead girl comes to life. Lots of ghosts in the river and the town. The reviews talk about magic. Not my kind of thing. Maybe I'll try it again later, maybe not. But I need to put it aside for now.
