I cannot begin to explain how much I enjoyed this book. I breezed through it in no time, and enjoyed every single page of it. This is a great tale of young love, coming-of-age, and discovering who you truly are. Erin McCahan managed to write a teen story that was thoughtful, meaningful, and full of fun, all at the same time.

Browen is such a unique and fun character. She never really fit in with her family and would picture a fantastical family coming to claim her as her own. She even gave herself a fake name. When she meets Jared, they begin a whirlwind romance that was so sweet. Jared is a great male lead! So sweet, smart, and romantic. Any young girl would have fallen for him (I know I did!).

I really felt connected to this book and the characters involved. Browen reminded me so much of myself when I was her age. I was engaged my senior year, with a wedding planned the same month as hers. All of her fears and doubts were ones that I had as well. I didn't have the family problems she had, but her love life was like a blast from the past.

Overall this was a fantastic book that kept me engaged and excited to find out what would happen. The romance made my heart flutter and I completely fell in love with the characters. I can't wait to read more by Erin McCain and I recommend this book very highly
