This book is the worst sort of manipulative scare tactic, geared towards fostering suspicion and mistrust of people who don't follow mainstream ideologies. This garbage is of the same ilk as the pamphlets warning of the hellish dangers of Dungeons and Dragons, or that Count Chocula is the cereal of the devil (Don't laugh, I've seen it in print!)

If you are a parent, and have concerns over your teen's behavior, look first to your own house. Teens rebel, it's what they do. I've known and been closely associated with people of the Wiccan path for decades. Honestly, a restless teen could hardly find anywhere better to look for answers than a tradition of love, caring, respect, non-violence, self expression, balance and honor.

Instead of this blatant propagandistic book, talk to your teen. It may not be easy to do, and if you can't quite see how to do so, look for a book to help you do that openly and lovingly, not some hyperbole-laden misinformed handbook like this. I can guarantee that if your teen IS interested in Wicca, this book will do more to alienate them and utterly violate their trust in you than it will ever do to help strengthen your relationship with your child.
