Book Review of Man of My Dreams (Sherring Cross, No 1)

Man of My Dreams (Sherring Cross, No 1)

This was a decent read with an interesting premise (Duke masquerading as a horse breeder). Had me cracking a smile at times. But I really think the book could have been much better had the author expanded upon what should have been pivotal and potentially very emotional scenes. Doing so could have added so much dimension to the characters. Instead, the author glossed and, at times, even skipped these potential scenes in favor of going right to them arguing--which they do for the majority of the book. This is endearing at first, but quickly becomes repetitive.

This book had potential to be more, but it's not a bad book to pick up to pass the time. Just don't expect it to be very memorial.
