I have guidelines to a good book:
1. each page has to have something to make me want to turn the page
2. short chapters with something happening in each chapter to make me want to read more
3. very little descriptions that have no bearing on the story
4. dialogue that makes the people more interesting
5. no more than 350 pages
This book has none of the above in my opinion, even though it is a sequel it should start out with some background from the first book to get you up to date then move on into the next part, this one just starts out with you in the dark, it moves very slow, and each and every page is just mainly descriptions with the storyline just moving at a snails pace and who wants to trudge through 500 pages of that?
