I was expecting not to love this book since it is werewolves and alphas and I haven't great expectations to find many surprises in this genre. There are always some exceptions and this is one of them. Loved the characters not standard chest thumping. Th stage is set from the start that there is a werewolf supreme, and he is over all other packs. He is a intelligent leader and trying to bring balance between human, werewolf and vampire populations. He is surrounded by his siblings and a solid pack. There is a problem of a fight between wolves and vampires so he goes to investigate, the king of vampires is traveling to the same area to investigate and contain. From there be ready to be surprised and delighted about a new partnership. Loved this book. Well written with solid characters and good story line.
