This book has many excellent ideas on managing your own health care and the alternatives available, e.g. midwives as a healthier choice than obstetrical doctors for normal, healthy pregnancies. This is an essential read for anyone wishing to take control of their medical life. There is some very credible research and statistics to back up Mr. Robbins' opinion, but it is his opinion, so don't make this the only book you read on the subject!
