This book follows Eeyore's desire to have a pet for company. He dreams of different pets he could have but none of them ultimately fit his desire for companionship. Then he meets a catepillar! It becomes his best friend until oneday it makes a cocoon and he becomes puzzled. Christopher Robin explains to him it will become a butterfly and Eeyore is delighted to see the new form his friend takes.
