I so loved this book, characters are interesting and the author builds a solid reality. Vampyr, ex-marine misunderstandings and realizations the plot is never static. You get a great feeling for the characters and their interactions are part of the plotting. I read the first book and ordered the second and read it until I finished it late at night. Very well written and as with all the authors books the characters are well rounded and interesting. I am hoping there will be a 3rd book.
