I had to read this book for a Women in Nordic Societies class in college. Despite being required reading, it is a very funny and interesting book.

Brantenberg flips the sexes in this book (even renaming things such as calling men "menwim") in an attempt to satirize the supposed equality of the sexes in the nordic nations. The first few pages of acquanting yourself with what she renames everything is a little difficult, but it gets much easier to read after the first few pages.
