Lots of fun to see how experienced writers take the same basic ingredients and formulate entirely different, intriguing stories.

A great book for women. Guys, order this for your mother, sister, aunt or significent other, that way you can read it too. The stories were well written and so true to the mystery field that I have to find more of the two writers that I have never read until now.

The book had a very good criteria for each story. Each one had to have a thick fog, a thick steak, and a big thick book. The writers did the rest with their unusual stories. Some were very scary ones, some sad ones, some strange ones and all together very interesting and fun reads.

I read this book because I love Mary Higgins Clark. I thought it would be full of great suspense stories, but I was disappointed. Other than Ms. Clark's story, I just did not enjoy this book.

It was ok. Some of the authors I don't care for.

Most of the stories were good. I think I my of found a couple of new good authors. On the other note the book does have some stories that were little dull and same of the authors had a hard time trying to use the forum of, thick steak, thick fog and a thick book. But overall I would recomend reading this book when you can get in quick reading time.

This book has a Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum story in it.

Enjoyable read, I read it a long time ago & can't remember enough to give it a fair rating. I did like it though.

I'm a huge Mary Higgins Clark fan & I've read all her books. About the time I started running out of her books to read, I found this. It's a great way to read different authors & feel them out!

Most enjoyable collection of crime short stories I've read in a while! Mary Higgins Clark, her sister, Carol, Janet Evanovich and Nancy Picard all have super stories in this book. I was really happy to read a story about Stephanie Plum, and one by Nancy Pickard. I love their books! All-in-all an entertaining read!
