She's accidentally destroyed a dozen cars. She's a target for every psycho and miscreant this side of the Jersey Turnpike. Her mother's convinced she'll end up dead...or worse, without a man. She's Stephanie Plum and she kicks butt for a living (well, she thought it would sound good to put it that way...)
It begins as an innocent trip to the deli-mart, on a quest for nachos. But Stephanie Plum and her partner, Lula, are clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time. A robbery leads to an explosion, which leads to the destruction of yet another car. It would be just another day in the life of Stephanie Plum...except that she becomes the target of a gang. And the target of an even scarier, more dangerous force that comes to Trenton. With super bounty hunter Ranger acting more mysteriously than ever (and the tension with vice cop Joe Morelli getting hotter), Stephanie finds herself with a decision to make: how to protect herself and where to hide while on the hunt for a killer known as the Junkman. There's only one safe place, and it has Ranger's name all over it-if she can find it. And if the Junkman doesn't find her first. With Lula riding shotgun and Grandma Mazur on the loose, Stephanie Plum is racing against the clock.

If you haven't read the Stephanie Plum novels you've missed a lot of fun. I find myself laughing out loud sometimes while reading this series, EVanovich is my kind of weird.
"Swing off the Jersey Turnpike and you'll be in bounty hunter Stephanie Plum's neighborhood. You'll know it because all hell will be breaking loose. Not that she looks for trouble - it just seems to follow her. This time it explodes at a deli, and when Stephanie pegs a robber as a member ofa vicious Trenton gang, they peg her as dead. Vice cop Joe Morelli fears she's in way too deep - even with the help of cross-dressing bus drive Sally Sweet and Stephanie's friend Lula riding shotgun as backup."

Absolutely hilarious. These books are a riot. The combination of humor and mystery are brilliantly combined.
Laugh out loud funny. Strongly recommened. Stephanie is one unique gal always in the way of trouble no matter how careful she might be.

"Ten Big Ones" starts innocently with Stephanie in search of some nachos, but it soon develops into mayhem as she interrupts a robbery and manages to get on the wrong side of one of New Jersey's most notorious gangs who put out a contract on her...This is another laugh-out-loud, over-the-top book. Enjoy...

Typical Stephanie trouble seems to follow her. The Trenton gang is out to see her dead and she even got the help of crime-solving cross-dressing bus driver Sally Sweet and friend Lul riding shotgun.
