This is not a biography. Goldie Hawn explores the essential moments of her life. A very spiritual person, Ms. Hawn describes childhood events, friendships, travels and family life events that she treasures. She has an extremely positive outlook on life.
I enjoyed the book but must admit I was ready for the book to end. Very well written, easy to read.

What Your Mother Couldn't Tell You and Your Father Didn't Know (Audio Cassette) (Abridged)

This one is interesting. Dr. Gray states that for the first time in our history, the majority of both men & women are working outside the home. Because this is a first, there is no familial history to draw from. He continues to explain how males & females are reacting to this.
What bothered me is he seems to think that if a man contributes to the home tasks, they are doing there partner a big favor & should be lavishly praised. The female works outside the home, then instinctively continues working when she gets home because that's the way she is. He never says she also is doing her partner a great favor & should be lavishly praised.
I found this tape to be very slanted & very backward. The idea behind the tape is a good one & there is some good information on the tape. The part that I found very backwards, very archaic, is a small part of the tape.
