This is the first Alex Cross novel. Wonderful thriller....
begins with a double kidnapping of famous people. Gary Soneji is a murderous serial kidnapper who wants to commit the crime of the century. Unusual suspense triangles of any thriller you have ever read.

This one has it all........slave traders, outlaw captain of ship who leads slaves to freedom. The captain is Adam. The slave breeder's daughter is Dulcie.
When they meet......all kinds of interesting things happen. She is feisty and reckless. I was either laughing or had tears through the entire book.

Great read! Weird and interesting. Wonder what it would be like to take a body ride, yes, really gets you to thinking....ride around in someone else's body and see things through their eyes?
