Good true crime, but I wonder why the lawyers didn't play up the bullying part more in the defense.

Deranged : The Shocking True Story of America's Most Fiendish Killer
Review Date: 8/25/2009
Helpful Score: 1

I've read countless true crime novels, and just when I thought I had read the sickest of them all, along comes "Deranged". Not for the faint of heart. Excellent true crime.Set in the 20's and 30's, people were a lot more naive about the dangers of the world then, but this book proves there were sickos even then.

I have read all of Dean Koontz's books and I was not thrilled with this one. There was just way too much unnecesary detail that you didn't need to get he jist of the story, I would skip paragraph after paragraph from pure boredom. They could have cut this in half and it would have been an execellent story. WWWWaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.
