Gary Glading is the cruise director aboard the Norwegian Jade. He is also the operator of an animal sanctuary taking in any and all homeless, sick, starving and abandoned animals - cats, ducks, birds, donkeys and on and on. His work with the cruise line is to support his animals as are the sales of his books. Wonderful stories. Heartwarming, funny, this book will steal your heart.
The two women in this book, Diane and Kelly, go through an unbelievable number of hurdles and death threats to find out why their husbands were murdered. A lot of luck and a lot of nerve carry them through their search across the US and Europe. Exciting audio book.
5 disks, 6 hours. Complex but exciting. As a favor for a friend, attorney Paul Madriani gives some legal advice to a man who later turns up dead, gunned down in the street with Paul's friend. Madriani feels compelled to find the motive behind the public executions of the two men and his search takes him from California to the jungles of the Yucatan. Each chapter makes you want to hear more. A very good mystery!
Wow! Just finished the book and I pass it on to you because it should be shared. It will haunt you. Fabulous characters. I wanted to gather up Bone and give her the comfort no one else seemed to be able to. Please read!
A gentle yet perfectly satisfying book about an aging woman trying to save her home by renting rooms to boarders for the summer. Sounds dull? Not a page of it. Because Nan is wonderful, inspiring and bright. Because the old family home is in Nantucket. Because the disparate people that rent her rooms are fascinating. I loved this book!
A little slow and somewhat dependent on your knowledge of past Kallerman books. For instance, the reader knows something catastrophic has happened to the teenagers Caleb and Jasmine in the past but "what" is never explained. Kellerman just assumes you've read about it in one of her previous novels.
Pete and Rina, Marge and Scott (delightfully familiar)get to work on an unusual case as skillfully as always.
I am a fan of her books but this is not the best.
