The book was interesting, but the information contained within was not a complete surprise. Yes, I as a childless woman, subsidize everyone elses kids. But the book gets kind of repetitive and I didn't even finish it. If this book is a new concept for you, try searching for "childfree" on google and you'll run into some great communities to chat about the lifestyle.

This book was such a great laugh. My husband and I snuggled and read it together. His mother, however, was not amused when she spied this book on our shelf. Make sure you hide this book if you have grandbaby-rabid parents or in-laws.

Typical of Larson's writing, this is yet another excellent example of deep research and a compelling narrative style. I recommend this book to anyone with a fascination of turn-of-the-century historical writings.

This was a fantastic read. Krakhauer is a phenomenal author. His tale is a vivid journey into the mind of a young man who thought he was invincible. As we know, even Icarus fell after his lofty achievement.

This book is essential for the working journalist who is interested in entering the narrative nonfiction style of writing. It has helped me tremendously with my writing. I also suggest Writing for Story by Jon Franklin.

Great futuristic sci-fi book. Great to read before 2008, not spoiling this any more than that.
