Great reference book for a first time mom. The suggestions and lists were very helpful when making purchases and registering for gifts. I am hanging on to my copy to reference when baby number two comes along.

I could totally relate to Jenny McCarthy's truth-telly book about the first year of motherhood. I found myself laughing out loud, which was much needed for this sleepless mom! I have passed this book along to another first time mom, so that she too knows that she is not alone in her motherhood journey!

Another fun read by Jenny McCarthy. I found myself laughing out loud at the "joys" of pregnancy symptoms. This is a great read to recommend to first time moms. She definitely shares all those not so fun moments of pregnancy!

A good one to reference while you search for the perfect name for your child! However, I have found that websites were also helpful while we created our short list of names.

The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate
Review Date: 12/4/2010
Helpful Score: 4

This book really opened my eyes to the differences in communicating love to my spouse. While my hubby didn't read the book, he did take the quiz in the back to help determine his "love language". The results lead into some great conversations about how we can both show each other love in the way we each like to be shown love. I would recommend this to any married couple, whether you are struggling in your marriage or not. Great read!

I struggled to finish reading this book. It was just recounting the events in Pride and Prejudice. The voice of Darcy was dull and the writing was something you would find in a young adult novel. Boring read.

Way too many sex scenes in this book for my liking. The characters were rather predictable and the storyline very unbelievable. It was an okay read. I would not recommend it.
