A well written story based upon the documented truth concerning the elaborate details of a heroic rescue by Israeli commandos to free a plane load of countrymen held by a lunatic dictator at the Entebbe Airport. This is not only a heart warming story of heroism, but also revealing in what a well planned and executed raid can accomplish. The Israeli unit performing this rescue is exciting to read about. It makes you feel as though you were there.

While the book was in very good condition (like new), the stories were not any I had heard of from the alleged authors. They were disappointing in substance and interest.

Excellent stories of the old west in only the action packed and colorful reditions that Louis L'Amour can tell em. The multiple short stories in one book makes wonderful reading for anyone who likes to start and finish a story line without having to put it down for continuing later. This book makes for a fantastic bed time adventure series.

Helpful Score: 1

I found this book to be disappointing as a Louis L'Amour book. There were numerous repetitions of the same statements and the plot dragged to the point of almost becoming boring. It also was not anything like any of the many other L'Amour novels that I've read. It is a science fiction thriller. The idea was was appealing in that since, but again, the story moved way too slow and the cast of characters were confusing with their unusual names.

A riveting tale told through the use of a gunslinger's diary that creates a story so impelling that it is difficult to put it down. Clay Halser is a gun toting lawman, former outlaw, rivaling Wild Bill Hickcock in notoriety. The really interesting thing about this dialogue is the realism that the reader feels towards the end when Clay is explaining his true feelings of what his life has been since achieving such a reputation.
Probably one of the best western stories to come down the pike.

A great mystery by a Florida author. In this thriller that incorporates past celebs of Hollywood's hey days, Stuart Kaminsky has triumphed again. It is an engaging sequel to Bullet For A Star and is a detective story made to order for all those who love a great mystery, or remember with nostalgia the glittering, immortal days of Hollywood.

An excellent western packed cover to cover with one of the most exciting tales. That of an innocent cowboy who chases after a bunch of bank robbers and murderers, and is mistakenly thought by the posse following behind him to be one of the gang members. His relentless pursuit of the bandits not only to retrieve his own money they'd stolen, but also to rescue a young girl who was abducted by. This author makes Louis L'Amour a possible #2 in suspenseful western story telling.
