Tana French is gifted writer. I have now read all 4 of her books and they are outstanding. This book is no exception. Her characters are so well developed and the stories very interesting.

Recently I received an email from AARP listing the 20 books one should read before you die..I had read most of them, this was one I hadn't read..was able together it through PBS..
It is a slim book and is a collection of short stories, with 1 central character "Nick Adams". It is the first "book" of Hemingway's published in the US. He was living in Paris at this time (1925).
I enjoyed it, particularly since I have read "The Paris Wife"..

This novel is nothing short of amazing.. The character development is about the best I've ever experienced. I do not read much in the crime/thriller genre however this was a true page turner!

This might be the last book in the Maisie Dobbs series. The series is delightful and both my husband and I have read them all. The setting is post WWI . Maisie is an interesting young woman who was a nurse during the war in France. She returns to England after the war and establishes and PI firm. The books are well written and the stories are interesting without a lot of sensationalism.

I read this book several years ago and thought it well written with an intriguing story line. I recently ordered the pbs copy for my daughter in law, who is reading more literary fiction.

The title of this book is the content. For me it was a very touching story and an excellent read.
