I keep trying to stick with this Tom Thorne series but I think I'm about done with it--they will start out fairly good but then it just gets bogged down with other things, Billingham at times just goes off in a different direction and you think 'what?', then when it gets back to the main story it drags and drags, usually by half way into any of his books I find I'm skipping and skimming and this one was no exception.
Early in the books(any of them) you find out the 'who' and then it just drags and drags with nonsense causing you to start skipping, the characters aren't very interesting either, even Thorne right now isn't an interesting character and he's suppose to be the star.
