Jeff Davidson is a self-help author and speaker based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has written several books including Breathing Space, The Joy of Simple Living, The 60 Second Starter, and the 10 Minute Guide to Project Management. He has also published several audio books.
Jeff's speaking topics focus on time and stress management, communication overload, managing priorities, and staying competitive in a career. He has been featured in the New York Times, the New York Guides, the News and Observer, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal Career Weekly. Other topics include the importance of prioritization, daily time management, and achieving long term goals through application of daily steps.
Jeff has also been interviewed by news sources, such as KSBY 6 out of California. This particular feature focused on the stress created in attempting to balance both work and personal commitments. Alabama's WSFA 12 ran a story exploring the encroachment of technology on personal life, in which Davidson was also cited.
In a presentation delivered to North Carolina State University students in 2008, Jeff gave a presentation entitled the "Sixty Second Procrastinator: Time Management for College Students". The event was free, and followed by a book-signing.
In 1995, Jeff founded the Breathing Space Institute. The Institute assists businesses and individuals by providing resources for time and life management through books, speeches, and seminars.
He is the former president of the Carolina Speakers Association and former national chair of the Public Relations Committee of the Institute of Management Consultants USA.
