I'm new to Barry Eisler, so this was my first one. I usually read Michael Connelley, Lee Child, and Vince Flynn. I was pleasantly surprised by this book; I loved the locale descriptions, the writing style and felt the character, John Rain, was very believable and cool. I look forward to reading more books from this author!

Good read. I like the details in these books of the locations where the story is set.

At the beginning of this adventure, John Rain manages to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, leading to an even greater victory by the end of the book.

Another great book in the John Rain series. If you like Lee Child (the Jack Reacher series) you will like John rain just as good.

Another excellent John Rain novel. Excellent read and i could not put it down. Interesting how the character progress from book to book. Rain is getting older and feeling the pain, but yet he continues to survive.

what happens when the inscrutable John Rain has a moment of doubt and lets himself feel some emotions during a job? Both good and bad come of it...

didn't appeal to me especially when you get into it and there are so many unpronounable words of places you don't have a clue about
