I almost didn't want to read this book when I found out what it was all about.
A psycho husband and wife whose characters were unlikeable and a disturbing plot. However, it WAS hard to put it down and I'm glad I finished it. The ending was twisted, terrifying and mind blowing.

A must read if you like thrillers!

Smart, horrifying tale of two people, parents, who decide for whatever reason to kill people. You never know how twisted some people can get. You will never look at anyone the same way again. Samantha Downing takes you down the most engrossing, disturbing path you'll hopefully ever be on. Make sure the doors are locked, all the doors.

This was a complete surprise to me, the story was different than anything I've read for a long time, it held my attention until the middle when it seemed to drag and wander off but then it just took a turn and got my attention again and I didn't put it down until I finished it!
I'll try more by Downing

This is the author's first work and it is exceptional. I can hardly wait for her next one. The characters are very likeable although their acts are rather unusual. Looking back, I would have to say the story is rather weird. That said, I could not put this down. This author has a great future.
Many thanks to Donna, who recommended this book to me. Good job friend!

This is not quite what I was expecting but it is very well done and quite clever. I really couldn't put it down. It's a dark tale and I felt the protagonist could have been smarter (but I will give exception for love is blind?). It gives us just enough to keep us on our toes and I was holding my breath at times. I would have liked a little more depth into Millicent and her actions sooner but perhaps it would not have been as clever a tale then. I will definitely look for more by this author.
