Taras Grescoe is a Canadian non-fiction writer, who won the Writers' Trust Non-Fiction Prize in 2008 for his book Bottomfeeder: How to Eat Ethically in a World of Vanishing Seafood. He was also nominated twice previously, for Sacré Blues: An Unsentimental Journey Through Quebec in 2000 and The End of Elsewhere: Travels Among the Tourists in 2003.
Sacré Blues also won the Edna Staebler Award and two awards from the Quebec Writers' Federation Awards.
