Very well written. The whole book was about Erma's experiences as a wife, mother and homemaker. The book held me in stitches the whole time I read it. It is a wonderul hilarious book written by one of America's famous humorists. A very funny read!

Absolutely A-100 humor! My sides hurt from laughing and I gave myself hiccups trying NOT to share with (and sometimes glare at) my spouse while I read some of Erma Bombeck's oh-so-true observations on married life, well, on life in general.

Madcap, bittersweet humor in classic Erma Bombeck-style. You'll laugh until it hurts and love it! "Any mother with half a skull knows that when Daddy's little boy becomes Mommy's little boy, the kid is so wet, he's treading water. What do you mean you're a participle in the school play and you need a costume? Those rotten kids. If only they'd let me wake up in my own way. Why do they have to line up along my bed and stare at me like Moby Dick just washed up onto a beach somewhere?"

It's good and I laughed several times relating to episodes of families with children.

The late Erma Bombeck was an inspiration to wives and mother in the sixties and seventies, and her humor and heart are just as applicable today. Just change Paul Newman to Tom Cruise and "hippies" to "goths", and you'll understand exactly what she's saying
