I absolutely loved this book. This story had parts where I found myself laughing out loud and then parts where I was in tears. From the family business of a funeral home, to being in love with the first boy who kissed you to finding prince charming.....this book is well worth the read.

I know the others who rated it, rated it low but I really liked this book. It started slow, but kept my interest. The ending was pleasant and this book shows how some young girls can fall for the wrong kind of guy, regardless of race.

I loved this book. I wasnt too sure about how it was going to affect me but the author has done a wonderful job with working with the mind of an autistic child. Funny thing is that some of the quirks of this child relate to me. Made me think LOL.

When he sees the dead dog and decided to become a detective, I was all for it. I did feel for him though when he had found out all the things that his father had done.

This book started out really slow and never really picked up the pace but yet I found it very difficult to put down. It was refreshing, in my opinion, to read how even though girls are sent through the steps of being a lady, they still jump off the path and head in the opposite direction. Her life sounded a little bit like mine to be honest.

I love Debbie Macomber. She is the reason that I got this book. I have come to see that Katherine and Lois have the same writing style. This book, for me, was just as wonderful to read with the 3 stories as it would have been if it were one continuous story.

OK im not sure if anyone else has ever seen Heartland on Netflix but this book was soo much like that show in so many ways yet it wasnt lol...if that makes any sense.....any book with a cowboy and a bunch of horses is already an awesome book....once I actually had a free day to read it i was hooked.....it has romance, laughter, and sadness....i really did cry and that is not an easy thing to do.

Very captivating book from a new author. This is definitely one that should be on your book list regardless if you are a teenager or an adult. This book makes you think about how things would really be if we could be in control of our destiny or that of a loved one. Her second book comes out in 2014 so make sure you read this one and purchase the next one as well.

This was actually better than I thought when I first started reading it. She is the teacher and he is the student and while flying in a small aircraft to an island in the Maldives to spend the summer with his family, the plane goes down. The first 2/3 of the book are all about them on the island and how they survive. The ending took off in a burst of glory and then it was over. In a way though, I felt like the author just ran out of story line for the island theme and wanted to end the story.

I thought I was going to be totally enthralled with this book because of the title. But....the title has absolutely nothing to do with the story. The journalist who took a picture of two boys holding a for sale sign was going to be used in his article but something happened to the paperwork and they needed a reprint of the picture. Well he didnt have one so was now working to get another.....it just did not hold my attention and was basically a bore to get through

Loved this book. Flavia reminded me of myself at that age. I loved exploring and figuring out different puzzle and their solutions. Never did I have the puzzle that she did but wow what a good book. Highly recommend this book. Read it in about 3 days total.

For every mother out there with a daughter, you should so read this book. From the love she feels for each daughter she has, to the relationship with her much younger husband. Brought not only tears of laughter but tears of love and respect for not just my mother but every mother out there. Four daughters with very different personalities, a step-dad that tries to deal with each on her level. Amazing book!

If anyone has ever had a best friend basically from birth, then you can relate to this book. I have been lucky enough to have a group of friends for the past 25 years that I can rely on for anything. The women in this book show us how strong and weak each one of us can be. The friendship ties go beyond just a cup of coffee every couple of weeks. When Georgia's daughter announces that she will be marrying her dad's best friend, that is when the fun begins. Talk about hitting too close to home for me. I dont write many reviews but this book had me hooked. Mostly because they live in the south and are brought up to not do certain things. None of realize what we have in each other until it is too late.

This is the story of a girl who is afraid of losing herself to herself as well as saving the life of an elephant calf, at any cost. One of my quickest reads last year as I could hardly put it down.

I loved this book! I didnt think that I would because, for me, it started out a little slow but man did it ever improve. Ending was not what I expected but was pleasantly surprised. This book hit home one so many different levels for me. Marriage is a difficult institution, regardless of how perfect it may seem to others.
