Oh no a dangerous thread, since my wish and reminder lists are already too big :).  I'm limiting myself to what would very very roughly be categorized as romance and paranormals.  If I have to include thrillers and fantasy and nonfiction I'll never be able to decide.  In no particular order,my favorites from this year's reading are:

Dark Desires After Dusk Kresley Cole

Alpha and Omega Patricia Briggs

To Taste Temptation Elizabeth Hoyt

Not Quite a Lady Loretta Chase

The Outlaw Demon Wails Kim Harrison

King of Sword and Sky C.L. Wilson

Swallowing Darkness LKH

No Humans Involved Kelley Armstrong

Twilight (and the next two in the series- pointedly omiltting Breaking Dawn)- Stephanie Myer

Grave Sight Charlaine Harris

Oh man...I really don't think I could narrow it down to ten!!! There were too many good books this year. I could make a list of books I hated!! LOL That would be easier!! : )

Wow! What  difficult choices to make! I read a lot of great books this year. All of the books I chose kept me thinking about them long after I read them, and some made me put them on my keeper shelf!  This is what I came up with--in no particular order:

Shattered Rainbows  Mary Jo Putney

Ain't She Sweet? Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Wicked Lovely Melissa Marr

Sugar Daddy Lisa Kleypas

Mustang Wild Stacey Kane

The Bride Thief Jacquie D'Alessandro

The Virgin River series Robyn Carr--I know, I know, that's more than one but they're all soooo good!

Twisted Creek Jodi Thomas

Sleeping with the Fishes Mary Janice Davidson--I love the whole series.

Susan - Wow, It's funny how tastes vary.  I hated No Rest for the WIcked - it would have to be one of my worst reads for the year. (mostly due to Kaderin - I can't stand her).

Willa - I feel the same way you do about some other books.  I guess that's why there's so many authors out there, so we can all enjoy different genre's and tastes.  ;-)

In no particular order:

Show And Tell    Jasmine Haynes

Storm Born    Richelle Mead

Wicked Game   Jeri Smith-Ready

These others are from authors that I glommed a whole stack of their books and they were almost all so good that it was very painful to pick just one from each group.  But yeah for finding so many good ones this year!!

Vigin River Christmas   Robyn Carr

Iron Kissed   Patricia Briggs

The Last Hellion  Loretta Chase

All Through The Night  Connie Brockway

An Ice Cold Grave   Shakespeare's Christmas  (just couldn't get it down to one)  Charlaine Harris

Cyborg Nation  Kaitlyn O'Connor

All Mortal Flesh by Julia Spencer-Fleming

edited to correct spelling and give honorable mention to England's Perfect Hero  Suzanne Enoch, how could I have forgotten that one

I wish I could list them, but I mainly remember the bad ones.  I must be a pessimist!

I know I enjoyed the Virgin River series and particularly liked the Christmas one.

I loved Wild at Heart

Delicious was one of my favs.

Blue-Eyed Devil affected me emotionally somehow.

Interestingly, I read Lord of Scoundrels for a second time and wasn't as impressed.  I think I liked Mr. Impossible better.

And for my last edit, I have to add My Beloved by Karen Ranney.  I had to go through my transaction archive to find books.

That is about all I can remember.  :-)

this is impossible! I've discovered a lot of new to me authors t his year and I like the entire series of some! I'll try to narrow it down though...

Redeeming Love - Francine Rivers - one of the most emotional books I've ever read

Fangs for the Memories - Kathy Love (liked the whole series of 4 books)

How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire -Kerrelyn Sparks - loved the whole series of 5(so far)books, The Undead Next Door was close

Morning Comes Softly - Debbie Macomber

Sealed with a Kiss- Mary Margaret Daughtridge

Promises Linger - Sarah McCarty

Charming the Prince - Medeiros

The Seduction of His Wife - actually liked all the Janet Chapman books I've read this year

Marianne Stillngs - no way I can pick a favorite here though Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evie, Satisfaciton, Damsel in this dress are about tied...

Jodi Thomas - tossup between Texas Rain and Tall, Dark, and Texan though I'm leaing towards the first one slightly more..

ETA dammit I forgot robyn carr's entire virgin river series, accidental werewolf, and for the love of pete...darn it those are about equal for one reason or another...this is stressful..gonna go post in the 10 worst books thread - it's easier to find bad ones out of this year's reads...

gosh I feel like I'm breaking out in a sweat LOL!

I've had a LOT of good-great reads this year and discovered a lot of light paranormal and historical that I've enjoyed as well as many new authors that I've glommed and actually read instead of  letting sit in mt tbr...

I can't believe I totally forgot Beau Crusoe.  I probably liked it a little better than Spymaster's Lady.  Silver Lining by Maggie Osborne was also an amazing book.  I've read so many good ones this year, it's hard to pick just 10 and call them the best of the best.

I just got my list together.  No particular order.

The Windflower by Laura London (I know, I know , some of you don't like this one.  But, in my defense, I have only been reading romance for about 2 1/2 years.  So, I haven't read many old school romance and I really liked this one.)

The Wind and the Sea by Marsha Canham (LOVE HER BOOKS)

Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati

Surrender by Pamela Clare
