Help Center - How to send a book

Search Terms:

Sending a book involves:

  • Responding to a Request
  • Getting the address/Printing the wrapper
  • Wrapping the book
  • Applying postage to the package (if you have not chosen to print PBS Postage)
  • Mailing the package
  • Marking it Mailed before the deadline to do so

Please note:

Marking a book mailed before the deadline to do so is essential to prevent the transaction from being canceled.

  • A canceled transaction means the other member's request may be passed to a new sender.

Your deadline to mark a book mailed appears in red on the transaction for the book on your My Account page

    • The deadline will be 11:00 PM ET, 7 days after the date you accepted the request by clicking "I can mail"
