I have only been following this program a week and have already lost three pounds! I love the way it really only takes 8 minutes- I finish it while my cats are eating their breakfast! i have been following the food program/ watching what I eat too. He has written a very easy exercise program with great motivational reads as well. Can't wait to continue...

This was the first book I've read by this author. I read it in one day while home with the flu. It was a well-written, who-done-it, that kept me guessing until the end. I enjoyed the storyline regarding the mother's controversial profession; very interesting and I am sure, true to life. A great read!

A horrible disappointment. I waited for months for this book to come out, assuming that it would be of the same caliber as "Water for Elephants". It took me weeks of forcing myself to read to get through the book. At the end, I didn't care what happened to any of the characters, including the apes. I was just happy to be finished.

I loved, loved, loved, this book!!! Although, I am not even a 'dog person', I fell in love with this dog and his inner thoughts! Difficult to put down, and definitely a book that I will never forget! I didn't want it to end... and will hope for a sequel. Wonderful and touching. Will be ordering as gifts for the holidays... I highly recommend!

I enjoyed this inside look at Disney. Although disturbing to read at times, Mitchell gives interesting facts about the parks that made me want to travel to them and check out things that I never noticed before. For instance, Disney parks don't sell chewing gum to prevent guests from having the annoyance of it sticking to the bottom of their shoe! Really? I never noticed! Although the writing style isn't always great, I enjoyed this book very much. Beware those with young children... you will never experience the "magic" quite the same way again!

What a wonderful and heart felt book. So well written that I could visualize the main character's home and family. I felt so sorry for the main character as well as her siblings. This book was impossible to put down! Hooray for the courage of this author in talking about her abusive upbringing and the power of the human spirit to overcome.

Although I found this book difficult to get into at first, by the end, I couldn't put it down. Very sad the whole way through. Not for someone looking for a feel-good read. I would recommend 'Nineteen Minutes' and 'Perfect Match' way ahead of this book, although this one is very good.

Beautiful and touching story about an obese man who has become a recluse. Gradually, his life begins to open up with the friendship of a young girl and connection to a past relationship. This book was well written, funny, and heart breaking all at once. I wanted it to go on, to discover what happens to the engaging and heart felt characters that I can not get out of my mind.

I loved this book at the beginning quarter of the story and the last quarter of the story. The 50% in between was very difficult to get through and at times hard to keep the characters from the past straight. Overall, I love Wally Lamb's writing and was fascinated by his ability to apply the believable fictional characters to very real and poignant recent world events of the past. Worth the effort to get to that last page!!
