The appetizers in the book are a bit too fancy for me, but are quite varied. Each recipe has a comment from the food editor that loves it, and why they included it.

The Brand You 50 : Or : Fifty Ways to Transform Yourself from an 'Employee' into a Brand That Shouts Distinction, Commitment, and Passion!
Review Date: 8/9/2006

this should be called how to be a consultant, because it's more about that than anything else. The 50 format makes it easy to skim. It's not an in-depth book, but rather a series of tips. The author writes like he's speaking to you, which in this instance gets annoying because it doesn't flow, and it's like reading someone's dictation of a Tony Robbins speech.. take it easy on the exclamation points I say!

Bridal Bargains: Secrets to Throwing a Fantastic Wedding on a Realistic Budget
Review Date: 3/22/2006
Helpful Score: 2

The best bridal planning and budgeting book of all I read during the process of planning my wedding. It has tons of useful websites and sources for all the things you'll find yourself needing, and great info on what not to let vendors get away with!

Not a whole lot of pictures but over 150 recipes with every different kind of cheese. Recipes are a bit gourmet but not particularly difficult.

Colic Solved: The Essential Guide to Infant Reflux and the Care of Your Crying, Difficult-to- Soothe Baby
Review Date: 6/27/2010

This is a great comprehensive guide to reflux. Don't listen when they tell you that babies usually cry for 3 or more hours per day. Our baby had reflux and medication has stopped his crying fits.

This is an interesting story about the history of insulin and how complicated it can be to attribute who individuals deserve all the credit. I found it most interesting to learn about how difficult life was for diabetics before insulin, and the wthe drastic measures they had to take to survive. A must-read for anyone with T1.

Great reviews of attractions, hotels, and restaurants all over Florida, including a chapter on Disney World and Orlando. There are so many other things to see here in FL besides just Disney, though!

Gastrointestinal Health: A Self-Help Nutritional Program to Prevent, Cure, or Alleviate Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Ulcers, Heartburn, Gas, Constipatio
Review Date: 9/18/2006

I finally understand after reading this how all the organs in my digestive system work. And it's not as gross as you might think. It's interesting to read how different foods and drugs you ingest each affect each organ differently, as well as potentially causing pain to those who are sensitive, or who have different conditions. A must read for those with persistent IBS, heartburn, gas, or other digestive issues.

Awesome mind-bending, thought-provoking book in a narrative form, but that covers philosophical issues. By the creator of Dilbert! He must have been thinking about some interesting things during those cubicle days. :)

Kitchen science and some recipes to go along with it.. discussions on emulsions, roasting, braising, sauteing, frying, etc. Recipes look tasty, but most are not for the dieter!
